Free expert advice for businesses on how to emerge from the recession

Seminars staged by Midlands offices of top ten independent corporate recovery and rescue firm Leonard Curtis

Midlands businesses seeking expert advice on positive actions to see them through the downturn are invited to attend seminars being staged by national top ten independent corporate rescue and recovery specialists Leonard Curtis.

The free to attend seminars are targeted at general practitioners advising clients with financial problems and key staff in banks or other financial institutions that work in lending, credit or risk.

Topics to be addressed are: 

  • How to deal with creditor pressure and negotiating Time To Pay Arrangement schemes with HM Revenue & Customs;
  • Distressed funding packages including Government/regional fund support schemes for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises;
  • Positive rescue procedures with conditions for successful restructuring;
  • SIP 16: pre-pack administrations;
  • Directors' duties;
  • Employee claims and rights in insolvency;
  • Asset recovery and protection.

The sessions are at:

  • The National Motorcycle Museum, Bickenhall at 8am on Tuesday, 2nd March;
  • Beacon Centre for the Blind, Wolverhampton at 4.30pm on Thursday, 4th March;
  • Prostar Stadium, Shrewsbury at 8am on Wednesday, 10th March;
  • Hilton Puckrup Hall, Tewkesbury at 8am on Tuesday, 16th March;
  • De Vere Staverton Park, Daventry at 8am on Thursday, 18th March.

The 8am seminars finish at 10.30am and that on the 4th March at 4.30pm runs until 8pm. 

The seminars will be addressed by senior executives from Leonard Curtis including Paul Masters, Alan Clifton, David Griffiths and Peter Laurie.
