Leonard Curtis and Richard Turvey launch risk management consultancy, Visibility

National corporate rescue and recovery firm, Leonard Curtis, and former LTSB Commercial Finance Senior Manager, Richard Turvey, have launched a joint venture, Visibility, a new name in risk management consultancy.
Visibility is to offer invoice finance companies, asset based lenders and banks advice on how to develop their portfolios profitably. Services include:
- Pre-lend reviews and recommendations on structuring new deals
- Sales ledger audits and verification
- Stock and P&M audits and valuation
- Interim support with or management of high risk loans and solutions on how to exit these
- Consultancy on risk management strategy, internal controls and people development
The launch sees Richard Turvey leaving his position at Lloyds Banking Group after 23 years in a series of senior positions having been accountable for asset based lending facilities totalling £100m and teams of Client Managers.
Richard, Founder & Director of Visibility, said: "The name Visibility comes from a well known expression in invoice finance i.e. ‘having visibility in the sales ledger' which means you see the value of your security, and therefore, risk being taken. We believe our service offering is unique to other providers because it will be delivered by people who have experienced first-hand the challenges of lending in the ABL market themselves, and therefore, understand exactly the needs of funders."
