Leonard Curtis is new national brand for DTE Business Recovery

As of 1st May DTE Business Recovery Group will trade nationally as Leonard Curtis. The change in trading style reflects a desire to operate one brand across the UK.

Following the launch of a Birmingham office in 2003, the acquisition of London based insolvency firm Leonard Curtis in 2005 and the growth of DTE Business Recovery in the North West, the business has become a top 10 national recovery practice.

Paul Reeves, director at Leonard Curtis says: "We're now a large, national operation and as such wanted to bring our services together under one brand name. Each of our divisions will come under the Leonard Curtis (LC) umbrella to make working with us more transparent and straightforward."

The business' insolvency function will be known as LC Business Rescue and Recovery Services, its turnaround and Crown rescheduling arm becomes LC Corporate Strategies, and its factoring brokerage has been renamed LC Factoring Advisory Service. Leonard Curtis has also introduced two new services, LC Asset Protection and LC Collections, which it is delivering through exclusive strategic alliances.

Reeves continues; "The long-term relationships we have developed over the years with clients and financial services partners have significantly contributed to our success. Based on this experience we knew it was important to build a comprehensive offer that helps businesses and funders throughout the rescue and recovery lifecycle.

"For this reason we've added new lines to ensure we can manage the associated risk when taking on new business, provide the necessary client support during the term of the relationship, as well as rescue, recovery or manage-away facilities if required."

Leonard Curtis currently employs almost 90 staff across the UK. The business retains an association with DTE, and is led by directors Paul Reeves, John Titley, Andrew Poxon and Neil Bennett.
