Stockport County Association Football Club Limited in administration - update

Stockport County Association Football Club Limited (SCFC) entered into administration on 30 April 2009, with the appointment of John Titley and Paul Reeves, Directors at Leonard Curtis, as Joint Administrators.
This statement is an update from the administrators.
The administrators are pleased to confirm that the Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) proposal was approved at meetings of creditors and shareholders today.
It is understood that the Melrose Consortium is close to finalising a deal with the Club's landlord, Cheshire Sports, and we will report further when this is concluded.
