Stockport County Association Football Club Limited in administration - update

Stockport County Association Football Club Limited (SCFC) entered into administration on 30 April 2009, with the appointment of John Titley and Paul Reeves, Directors at Leonard Curtis, as Joint Administrators.
This statement is an update from the administrators.
"We can confirm that terms have been agreed for the transfer of Josh Thompson to Celtic Football Club as of 7 August 2009. In addition, SCFC Youth players Michael Ordish and Curtis Jones have also transferred to Celtic's youth academy.
"As stated previously, these transfers have been necessary to raise the funds to pay ongoing trading costs.
"We wish all three players every success at their new club."
