Stockport County Association Football Club Limited in administration - update

Stockport County Association Football Club Limited (SCFC) entered into administration on 30 April 2009, with the appointment of John Titley and Paul Reeves, Directors at Leonard Curtis, as Joint Administrators.
This statement is an update from the administrators.
Further to the statement issued on 24th June we can confirm that the transfer of SCFC players James Tunnicliffe and Gary Dicker to Brighton and Hove Albion FC has been agreed today, Thursday 25th June. As stated previously, this has been necessary to raise the funds which are required to pay ongoing critical trading costs, including wages.
We wish James and Gary every success at their new club.
