Rik joined the firm's insolvency and recovery services team in summer 2008 and is a Chartered Accountant and an Insolvency Practitioner.
Prior to joining Leonard Curtis he spent 10 years with KPMG working on both advisory and insolvency assignments for a broad range of stakeholders such as company directors and shareholders, banks and asset-based lenders, accountants and solicitors and the asset finance and leasing community.
He also spent a year on secondment to one of the main clearing bank's intensive care teams where he worked with over 50 of their problem cases, gaining invaluable experience of a broad range of sectors along with practical insights into how a bank deals with businesses in distress.
Rik is married with a baby daughter and is a keen golfer and Manchester United fan.
