Siann Huntley and Andy Beckingham from Leonard Curtis Business Rescue & Recovery have been appointed today as Joint Administrators to the Derbyshire‐based independent school Michael House and Rowans Day Nursery.
The school, kindergarten and nursery provide a complete education from birth through to 16 years and is part of 1000‐strong worldwide network of organisations which educate children according to the principles of Rudolf Steiner. The organisation currently looks after c 80 pupils at its Heanor site. Joint Administrator Siann Huntley commented: “We are working closely with the school’s Trustees, who have been very supportive, the Principal, parents and other stakeholders to make sure that it is
business as usual for pupils of all ages, but especially those who are in the run up to their GCSEs. It is important that their education ‐and that of all pupils ‐ remains unaffected.”
