Stuart Robb from Leonard Curtis Business Rescue & Recovery has been appointed Interim Liquidator to Pride of the Clyde Coaches Limited.
The Greenock‐based coach hire business has been operating since 1977, providing a variety of tailored fleet services to customers across Scotland.
According to the Company’s directors the firm had recently lost some of its contracts following a re‐tendering process which, in turn, led to a loss of revenue and subsequent cashflow problems which could not be resolved.
The Interim Liquidator confirmed that Pride of the Clyde had effectively ceased trading (22nd August 2019) and its 28 employees had been made redundant.
Stuart Robb commented: “Unfortunately due to the Company’s financial and operational position, it was not possible to continue to trade the business. Our focus is now on maximising realisations from the remaining assets for the Company’s creditors and ensuring that those employees impacted by the insolvency are offered the appropriate help and support they require.”
Leonard Curtis Business Rescue and Recovery is part of the Leonard Curtis Business Solutions Group (LCBSG).
