Update
Leonard Curtis has taken a key step in its mission to expand its funding division with the appointment of highly-skilled banking specialist Becky Owen.
Joining the firm as the Director of Commercial Finance, Becky brings 25 years of market knowledge and experience to Leonard Curtis - including two decades at the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Becky was also part of a leadership team which delivered a new bank to the UK market, creating and leading distribution teams at revverbank, Bank North & LHV.
Leonard Curtis is aiming to develop its funding pillar in 2024, and when Becky became available it was clear she was the person the firm needed to deliver these plans and expand a service offering for SMEs.
Head of Funding at Leonard Curtis Gary Cain stated: “Bringing someone with Becky’s experience to lead commercial finance is a real coup for us - she brings a wealth of experience and her track record of developing the teams around her is exemplary.
“We have some exciting plans ahead and this recruitment really strengthens our ability to take the business to another level.
“At Leonard Curtis we are all about surrounding ourselves with great people and this appointment is testament to that.”
Becky said: “I am delighted to be joining Leonard Curtis and working with the team to develop and enhance our strategy to be able to support more SMEs across the UK and beyond.
“Having known and worked with members of the team for many years, I am really privileged to be given this opportunity and look forward to our successful and exciting future together.”
