47 promotions nationally signals serious intent at Leonard Curtis

Leonard Curtis Group has announced a raft of promotions this week as the UKes leading independent restructure and turnaround firm prepares to step in to save firms struggling in a volatile economy. 

The second half of 2022 will see hundreds of British businesses navigating challenging conditions with less financial support as the government scales back its pandemic prop-up packages amid the cost of living and energy crisis.  

As part of its mission to guide companies and individuals navigating the perfect storm, Leonard Curtis is advancing its best personnel - providing enhanced expert corporate restructuring and insolvency services and associated debt advisory, funding and legal support. 

Forty-seven (47) members of the Leonard Curtis team across more than 13 UK locations have received promotions this month.  

Seven offices are getting new Directors: Iain Nairn in Gateshead; Anthony Milnes in Leeds; Lisa Ion in Liverpool; Mike Dillon in Manchester; Megan Singleton in Preston; David Griffiths in Wolverhampton; and Joph Young in Worcester.

Associate Directors have also been appointed in the shape of Sean Ward, Dane OHara and Rochelle Schofield in Bristol, London and Manchester respectively. 

Sophie Ingram has risen to become Head of Culture and Wellbeing / PA to the Executive Board in Manchester, whilst further afield there have been big promotions for Amelia Ladbrook to National Head of Marketing in Birmingham; Sally Adjemian as HR Payroll and Training Manager in London; and Sherrelle Scott as LC Legal Senior Associate in Manchester. 

Managerial changes have seen Sophie Smith become a Senior Manager in Guernsey, with Peter Herberts also taking up this post in Leeds. 

Samuel Wood and Alex Ablett have been appointed Managers in London, whilst Andrew Dally becomes a Manager in Bristol and Rachael Johns is awarded this role in Compliance. 

Preston, Glasgow and London will all get new Assistant Managers - with Alnur Miah aiding in the North-West, Gayle Meldrum supporting in Scotland, and Luke Mahoney working in the capital. 

The ambitious firm has also promoted more than a dozen Administrators. Senior Administrator posts have been awarded to Sam Bellamy in London; Joe Thompson in Manchester and Azimunnisa Raj in Preston. 

Administrator roles have gone to Abbie Lenihan and Ethan Yates in Birmingham; Surinder Kaur in Bristol; and Jonathan Burke in Leeds. Max Richardson has been promoted in the Manchester Corporate Strategies team, whilst Harry Knowles, Charlie Ottewill and Rhuari Robb have advanced in the Manchester Administrations team. Meanwhile, Aaminah Dadabhoy and Zara Naveed-Khan have become Administrators in Preston and Rebecca Angell has been promoted to Marketing Executive in the London office.

The Leonard Curtis Bury office has enjoyed considerable recognition - with new appointments for James Hall (Head of Data); Zara Mehmood (Assistant Accountant); Gabriel Bryant and Hasan Patel (Senior Administrators Closures Team); Alex Kay and Aslam Mulla (Senior Administrators in Liquidations Team); James Parsonage (Senior Administrator in MVL team); and Avery Lewis (Administrator in MVL team). 

The Bury Liquidations team will also get two new Supervisors: John Crolla and Kieran Higson. 

Leonard Curtis CEO Dan Booth said the wave of promotions was reflective of the superb service being provided across the brand nationwide. 

It is brilliant to see the promotions that have taken place, Dan said. 

The hard work and commitment shown by everyone has resulted in this fully-deserved recognition.

As a firm we have always tried to develop from within a sensible strategy given we have the best people it is a massive honour and privilege for us all to work alongside some amazing individuals.
