Following many years experience at the front line of helping business with financial and commercial issues, Carl formed the Portland Business Recovery, which was acquired by Leonard Curtis in 2021. Using his experience as Managing Director of a successful insolvency practice, Carl became Group Head of Insolvency Operations this year.
Carl has owned and operated a number of businesses and knows how tough that can be, and the blood sweat and tears involved. He ensures you have someone in your corner that not only understands what matters to you, but will support you, is tenacious and has the expertise to help. Outside of work, he is a family man with three children and two dogs at home. Carl enjoys following the local football scores, but his main sporting interest is playing golf; currently hovering around, but not quite achieving a single figure handicap!
