This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with post-qualification experience to join a dynamic and growing Group finance function. Reporting directly to the Head of Group Reporting, the Management Accountant will take ownership of the production and analysis of management accounts across all Group entities, supporting both the UK and offshore jurisdictions.<br>The role offers broad exposure to a complex, multi-entity environment and provides a genuine opportunity to add value through insightful financial analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.<br><br><br>
Job Requirements
<strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong><br><ul><li>Fully qualified CIMA or ACCA accountant with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience</li><li>OR Fully AAT Qualified with multiple years post-qualification experience in Industry</li><li>Demonstrable experience of producing management accounts in a multi-entity or group environment</li><li>Experience working with or an understanding of offshore jurisdictions (Channel Islands, Isle of Man) is advantageous, but not mandatory</li><li>Background in professional services, financial services, or a similar regulated sector preferred</li></ul><strong>Technical Skills</strong><br><ul><li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly Excel (advanced level)</li><li>Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools</li><li>Familiarity with accounting software used in a group reporting context</li><li>Ability to work with complex intercompany structures and consolidations</li></ul><strong>Personal Attributes</strong><br><ul><li>High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality</li><li>Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and communicate financial data clearly</li><li>Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities to tight deadlines</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels</li><li>Collaborative team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Commercially aware and genuinely interested in the financial performance of the business</li></ul>
Job Responsibilities
<strong>Management Accounts &amp; Reporting</strong><br><ul><li>Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts for UK and offshore entities (Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man)</li><li>Maintain and develop financial reporting across the Group’s multi-entity structure, ensuring consistency and accuracy</li><li>Support the Head of Group Reporting with statutory accounts preparation and year-end audit processes</li></ul>&nbsp;<br><strong>Financial Analysis</strong><br><ul><li>Deliver meaningful analysis of financial performance including operating margins, turnover metrics, and leverage ratios</li><li>Assist with benchmarking exercises and market analysis to support strategic decision-making</li><li>Prepare and maintain rolling forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections across the Group</li><li>Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the financials, presenting findings clearly to senior stakeholders</li></ul><br><strong>Intercompany &amp; Multi-Jurisdictional Accounting</strong><br><ul><li>Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across UK, Channel Islands, and Isle of Man entities</li><li>Ensure compliance with local regulatory and accounting requirements across all jurisdictions</li><li>Support dividend and intra-group funding processes, liaising with legal and compliance teams as required</li></ul><br><strong>Systems &amp; Process Improvement</strong><br><ul><li>Utilise Power BI reporting dashboards to enhance management information delivery</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and data integrity within the finance function</li><li>Support system integration and data projects, contributing to the Group’s broader IT and data strategy</li></ul><br><strong>Stakeholder &amp; Commercial Support</strong><br><ul><li>Act as a key finance business partner to operational teams across the Group’s service lines</li><li>Assist with financial due diligence, special projects, and ad hoc analysis as required by senior management</li><li>Liaise with external auditors, tax advisers, and banking partners where appropriate</li></ul>&nbsp;<br><br>
