The Index, which ranks clubs according to their performance on and off the field over the ten years from 2014 to 2023, is built on a robust and widely respected methodology developed by some of the world’s leading sports finance academics.
The report examines each of the clubs’ financial data across the key markers of revenue, total wages, profit/loss, debt and equity, and also assesses the potential impact of the £520m boost for the game from investment into The Hundred.
The report’s foreword is written by former Ashes-winning England captain Michael Vaughan.
