We're currently seeking a Corporate Business Development Manager who will be responsible for driving revenue from corporate clients, including private equity and venture capital funds, professional services firms, and mid-market to large companies who wish to leverage access to the UK’s largest board advisor network.<br>The role owns the full B2B sales cycle, from origination through to close and onboarding - and plays a key part in building a scalable, repeatable corporate sales function.<br>This is a commercially focused role, selling high-value licences, access to a curated network, and associated event and brand partnerships.<br><br><strong>The Role</strong><br><br><ol><li>Own new business &nbsp;development into corporate and professional services firms for OpNet/DealDirect and affiliate products.</li><li>Build and manage a targeted pipeline of BD and partnership opportunities, from initial outreach through to negotiation and close.</li><li>Sell solutions that help firms access our non-executive, operator and deal origination networks, shaping propositions to meet their specific needs.</li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (partners, directors, HR/talent, portfolio and BD teams) to drive ongoing revenue.</li><li>Work closely with the Head of Sales, marketing and the VNXD leadership team to refine messaging, target lists and go-to-market across these channels.</li></ol><br><br>
Job Requirements
•&nbsp;&nbsp;Proven track record in B2B business development, ideally selling into private equity, venture capital, or professional services environments<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience selling subscriptions, memberships, SaaS, or professional services to senior, multi-stakeholder audiences<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong consultative and value-based sales capability, with the ability to link solutions to commercial outcomes (e.g. talent access, deal origination, growth)<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Confident communicator, able to engage and influence senior stakeholders including partners, directors, and C-suite executives<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Commercially astute with strong numeracy and the ability to construct clear business cases and ROI narratives<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience using CRM systems and standard sales productivity tools<br>• &nbsp;Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment<br><br><strong>Desirable</strong><br><strong><br></strong>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Background in professional services, private equity, corporate finance, advisory, or senior talent/board-level recruitment<br>• &nbsp;Experience working within a scale-up or high-growth business and contributing to go-to-market strategy<br><br><strong>Role Characteristics<br></strong><br>• &nbsp;High autonomy with direct exposure to senior leadership<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Focus on revenue generation, relationship building, and commercial outcomes<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Opportunity to contribute to the development of a scalable corporate sales function<br><br><br>
Job Responsibilities
•&nbsp;&nbsp;Build, manage, and convert a qualified pipeline of corporate prospects across private equity, venture capital, legal, accountancy, advisory, banking, and mid-market corporate segments<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Identify and map key decision-makers, including partners, managing directors, and senior stakeholders, and execute targeted outreach strategies<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Lead the end-to-end sales process: discovery, solution design, proposal, negotiation, and close<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Sell corporate licences and associated services, including talent access, deal flow opportunities, and event or brand packages<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Deliver structured, commercially focused sales meetings and platform demonstrations (remote and in-person)<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Clearly articulate value propositions and ROI to multi-stakeholder buying groups, including C-suite and investment committees<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns, events, and content that generate qualified opportunities<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and activity tracking within the CRM<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide market feedback on pricing, packaging, and product development to support ongoing refinement of the corporate proposition<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Represent the business at industry events, roundtables, and networking forums to build relationships and enhance brand visibility<br>• &nbsp;Contribute to the development of sales playbooks, collateral, and processes to support scaling of the commercial function<br><br><strong>Targets and KPIs</strong><br><strong><br></strong>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Generate £targeted corporate licence revenue per month<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Achieve a minimum of 50% retention and expansion across corporate accounts year-on-year<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Build long-term, revenue-generating client relationships with clear account growth trajectories<br><br><br>
