<p style="text-align:justify;" id="isPasted">VirtualNonExecs has built the UK’s largest and most connected community of Non-Executives, Chairs, and Fractional C-Suite advisers and we’re now scaling our Fractional offering. We’re seeking a driven professional to lead this vertical, owning end-to-end origination of mandates across the SME and PE-backed market. Reporting to the Head of Search, you’ll design and execute client acquisition strategies, generate new mandates, and lead high-level discovery conversations with C-suite and Board executives. You’ll advise clients on fractional versus permanent structures, drive retained or exclusive engagements and oversee project delivery with excellence. This is a true build role, not a junior BD or delivery function offering the opportunity to create and grow a high-performing business line within a fast-moving, PE-backed platform</p>
Job Requirements
•&nbsp;&nbsp;Proven experience originating and closing senior or executive search mandates.<br id="isPasted">•&nbsp;&nbsp;Background in interim, executive search, senior recruitment, or consulting within SME or PE-backed environments.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong track record of building and managing client relationships at C-suite and Board level.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Commercially minded with the ability to scope and price mandates effectively.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Skilled in pipeline management, forecasting, and delivering against revenue targets.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a consultative and value-driven approach.<br>• &nbsp;Confident advising business leaders on organisational structure and talent strategy.<br>• &nbsp;Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and tech-enabled environment.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Self-starter with a growth mindset and ability to build a function from the ground up.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Leadership potential with experience (or desire) to mentor and develop others.<br><br><br>
Job Responsibilities
•&nbsp;&nbsp;Lead end-to-end origination and growth of Fractional C-suite mandates across SME and PE-backed markets.<br id="isPasted">•&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop and execute a structured client acquisition strategy, leveraging outbound activity, events, and ecosystem networks.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Identify, approach, and engage senior decision-makers at C-suite and Board level.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs and advise on fractional versus permanent solutions.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Secure retained or exclusive search mandates through a consultative, value-led approach.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Oversee search delivery in partnership with internal and external resources to ensure client satisfaction.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Build and nurture long-term relationships with portfolio companies, investors, and key ecosystem partners.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Drive consistent pipeline growth, meeting-to-mandate conversion, and quarterly revenue targets.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Capture market insights to shape VNXD’s Fractional brand positioning and offering.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Hire, lead, and develop a small high-performing team as the function scales.<br><br><br>
