Ellie is the Director of Funding Operations leading the Operations team, who provide the foundations to support growth and financial performance while managing financial risk and controls and ensuring the business is set up sustainably for the future.
Our team helps clients secure the right funding for their specific needs, taking time to understand both them and their business. We work closely with professional advisers to deliver bespoke funding solutions, negotiating facility terms and conditions with lenders and, where necessary, helping clients to explore alternative options. In addition, our specialist business advisory team supports clients with creditor negotiations, particularly with HMRC, assisting in time to pay arrangements that are often combined with a refinance of existing facilities.
Originally qualifying as an Accountant, Ellie has spent the last 15 years working in various roles in the Banking and Commercial Finance sector. Following 12 years at Handelsbanken in Credit Underwriting and Lending positions, she worked as part of a team that brought new banks to the UK market, supporting with the development of products, systems and processes at Bank North and LHV.
Ellie’s current role combines her detailed understanding of banking and lending processes, with her passion for problem solving to coordinate the team’s delivery of key strategic objectives focussed on enhancing the client journey and supporting business growth.
