Josh graduated with a First Class degree in Maths from Newcastle University before beginning his career in corporate finance in London. He worked at Allied Irish Banks (AIB) on the Corporate Loans team, where he spent two years supporting new transactions and managing a client portfolio ranging from £5 – 40 million. After relocating back up north, Josh continued his work with AIB, moving into the Business Development Management team before spending three years as an Associate Client Manager.
Since joining Leonard Curtis, Josh's main focus has been credit analysis and financial modelling, primarily dealing with cashflow lending and leverage finance. He works with a diverse mix of clients across all sectors on different transaction types, from new acquisitions to MBO/MBIs and refinances, helping them approach lenders with the right affordable debt structure in place.
With experience in both business development and portfolio management across different types of lenders, Josh has supported transactions typically ranging from £1-30m of debt facilities, helping clients with growth and navigating challenging trading periods throughout his career in corporate lending.
