Monty was born and raised in Bristol. He studied Geography with Business (BA) at the University of Nottingham, where his dissertation focused on the finance and funding behind Rugby Union in England. Following graduation, he worked for 10 months in purchasing and account management within the IT department at Heidelberg Materials UK, an aggregates company, before spending the summer travelling in Australia.
He has since returned to Bristol to pursue a career in financial management and insolvency, and is thoroughly enjoying his time in the Restructuring and Insolvency team.
