Tracy is an experienced construction specialist, with over 40 years experience of main contracting, subcontracting and consulting within the construction sector.
A qualified QS, she has also supplemented her skillset by gaining a law degree and completing the RICS Diploma in Adjudication. She has leadership experience both within an owner managed business, a PLC and a multi- disciplinary professional consultancy practice
Tracy has a thorough understanding of the contractual and commercial aspects of the construction industry, with a focus on main contracting and subcontracting perspectives. She is able to quickly grasp the dynamics of a particular situation and has the ability to assess the available options and to deliver practical solutions.
An agile thinker with the ability to quickly build rapport based on a proven understanding of the problems faced within the industry and a no-nonsense approach to finding and delivering practical solutions, Tracy has long standing relationships with both clients and colleagues .
For the last 15 years Tracy has adapted her core skill set to support funders within the Asset Based Lending (“ABL”) industry lending into the construction sector. She is able to both act for funders in assessing risk/ carrying out due diligence both pre and during the lifetime of a facility and to provide commercial and contractual support where needed to those funders’ clients and prospective clients. If required, Tracy can also support the funder through an exit process.
She also provides support to Insolvency Practitioners acting on cases in the construction sector and has worked on some complex cases, including forensic review of accounts and data recovery to rebuild accounts.
