Dan Booth is Chief Executive Officer at Leonard Curtis, where he leads a 350+ strong team across 30 offices in the UK and offshore.
He has helped shape the business into one of the UK’s most trusted names in restructuring and insolvency, legal, funding, M&A advisory and business services - building a trusted national brand and broadening its service offering to support SMEs and corporates at every stage of the business lifecycle.
Dan joined the Bury-based firm straight from school at 16. Twenty-five years later he stepped up to the CEO role (in 2020), and now leads the group’s strategy and growth agenda, with a clear focus on innovation, sustainability and client service.
Under his leadership, Leonard Curtis has continued to expand through organic growth, strategic acquisitions, and the development of its Lifecycle referral network – now supporting more than 3,000 accountancy firms nationwide.
Dan has led the business through two capital events to date. In 2021, attracting investment from family office Arete Capital Partners and SVELLA Plc, who successfully exited in 2025 when leading investment house Pollen Street Capital took a majority stake in Leonard Curtis, taking the firm to new heights under Dan’s stewardship, with ambitions to double revenues in four years and create more opportunities for the wider team.
Dan is passionate about building a culture where people can thrive, recognising that the firm’s success is driven by the expertise, commitment and collaborative spirit of its teams.
His unique blend of ambition, pragmatism, and people-first philosophy looks set to define the business for years to come.
