Michael Vaughan shares views on county cricket's future in new podcast
Leonard Curtis has launched episode three of its new podcast series Sport, Structured with key insights from former Ashes-winning England captain Michael Vaughan to mark the launch of the firm’s updated Cricket Finance Report 2026 which launched this week (22nd July).
Michael, who wrote the foreword to the report, was joined by host James Cooper, Iain Nairn MBE, a Leonard Curtis Director and former T20 World Series-winning England Physical Disability cricket captain, and Prof Rob Wilson, who is a Professor of Applied Sport Finance and co-author of the report.
The podcast – titled ‘What does the future hold for English county cricket?’ – helps unpack key findings from the fifth and newest report in the Business of Sport series and Michael shares views on how counties can work together and develop stronger player pathways.
