The Leonard Curtis Golf Finance Report is the fourth in a series of reports from Leonard Curtis on the Business of Sport. Its publication follows two editions of the Leonard Curtis Rugby Finance Report, released in 2024 and 2025, and the inaugural edition of the Leonard Curtis Cricket Finance Report, published in 2025.
With an in-depth overview of golf’s financial ecosystem, the Leonard Curtis Golf Finance Report provides a unique perspective on the future outlook for the sport.
Published less than a month on from the decision by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) to end its funding forLIV Golf at the end of the 2026 season, the report examines LIV’s impact on the sport and its financial landscape.
The report analyses the accounts of the PGATour, DP World Tour and LIV Golf, and also presents a breakdown of the career earnings of men’s elite golfers, featuring the top 20 earners from the PGA Tour and DP World Tour, alongside the top 10 from LIV Golf.
The report’s foreword is written by former European Tour coach and Sky Sports Golf commentator Simon Holmes.
