Case study
Instructed by a building contractor to provide a report on their options to recover outstanding monies due under a contract to build a 52,000 sq. ft. industrial building in Merseyside, comprising of warehouses and offices.
We engaged leading regional property agents to help identify specific property issues and provide disposal strategies.
We worked in conjunction with Leonard Curtis Legal to undertake a legal review to highlight any concerns which could affect the strategy to recover the outstanding monies.
Our report outlined the positives and negatives of a number of different strategies, including a number of formal enforcement processes, together with our recommendations. This allowed the contractor to make an informed decision, which resulted in full repayment of the outstanding monies.
