CEO Dan Booth and Head of Funding Gary Cain are taking part in the upcoming gruelling Snowdon Triple Challenge 2024 for The Arete Foundation.
This will start with a 17km cycle through Snowdonia National Park, followed by a 15km trek up to the top of Snowdon and back down to finish with a 4km kayak across Llyn Padarn ... all in one day!
Both are determined to help the Arete Foundation raise enough money to pay to support an amazing North West Charity called the Inclusive Hub.
The Inclusive Hub started in 2016 and provides a range of facilities to help young people with autism, Down syndrome, amputees, wheelchair users and behavioural needs. The goal is to provide support and to empower these young people through exercise and education. All money raised will help the Inclusive Hub further develop their facilities and continue to provide a lifeline to so many people, who without the Hub, would have no-where else to support them.
Many young people find themselves on the wrong path in life due to a range of difficult circumstances, often outside of their control. Without the support and hard work of charities, it’s a path they struggle to escape.
The Arete Foundation provides funding and support to charitable organisations that help young people in the North West to fulfil their potential. Since founding the Foundation in September 2021 they have provided £251,000 to a variety of amazing causes, and with your help we can continue to build on this and continue to make a difference to many more lives.
