Leonard Curtis has joined the Bridging & Development Lenders Association (BDLA) as an Associate Member, strengthening its links with the bridging and development finance sector.
The BDLA is the UK’s only trade association dedicated to representing the interests of bridging and development lenders and their customers. Its membership brings together lenders and associate firms from across the sector, including funders, legal firms, valuers, technology providers and other professional services businesses.
Phil Deyes, Director at Leonard Curtis, said:
“Our teams work closely with businesses, lenders and advisers, often in situations where decisions need to be made quickly and with a clear understanding of the wider position. Joining the BDLA offers us the opportunity to build closer relationships across the bridging and development finance sector and contribute to the wider conversation on the key issues and opportunities for the industry.
“We look forward to sharing our experience with fellow members and supporting the Association’s focus on maintaining high professional standards.”
Adam Tyler, CEO of the BDLA, commented:
“Leonard Curtis brings experience that is highly relevant to lenders, particularly when a business or property project faces financial pressure. Early advice and clear information are critical to protecting value and achieving the best possible outcome for all parties.
“Through its work across restructuring, funding, legal services and property and construction, Leonard Curtis will bring a broad and practical perspective to the Association. We’re very pleased to welcome Phil and the team to the BDLA.”
