Sale enables continuity of Leicester Koi Carp business
Mike Dillon and Andrew Knowles of Leonard Curtis were appointed Joint Administrators of Queni Koi Ltd, trading as Queni Koi Southern Ltd, on 18th September 2025.
Based in Wanlip, near Leicester, Queni Koi was formed in 2010 to source high quality Japanese Koi carp from Japan.
Following a period of financial instability, mainly due to increase trading overheads and reduced sales earlier this year, the Director sought professional advice.
A sale of the business and assets was completed to BIAS IT Limited, an unconnected company, on the same date, which has enabled continuity of the business.
Lead Administrator Mike Dillon commented: "The transaction ensures continuity for the Queni Koi brand under new ownership.”
