Leonard Curtis has named Variety, the Children’s Charity as its Charity of the Year for 2026.
The 12-month partnership, which starts immediately, will see the team at Leonard Curtis fundraising and volunteering to support Variety’s mission: helping disabled and disadvantaged children to reach their full potential.
Leonard Curtis is one of the UK’s leading multi-discipline business advisory organisations with over 330 people in 30 locations across the UK and off shore.
It specialises in restructuring, funding, legal, M & A advisory and a wide range of related business services for business owners and their advisors.
This will be the first time the firm has set up a Charity of the Year partnership, after a long-standing association with Variety. It will sit alongside The Leonard Curtis Foundation and Giving Back Days, an established employee-led programme of giving and volunteering at the firm.
Celebrating 75 years last year Variety provides practical support that makes an immediate difference to children.
From specialist equipment and mobility aids to unforgettable experiences and accessible transport, Variety is dedicated to improving the lives of disabled children and their families. They helped 160,000 children last year.
Commenting on the new partnership Dan Booth CEO at Leonard Curtis said: “At the heart of this choice is something very simple – every child deserves the chance to enjoy their childhood.
“Variety makes that possible for children who face huge challenges every single day. We’re honoured to stand beside them and do what we can to bring more joy, more opportunity, and more hope to families who need it most.”
Laurence Guinness, Variety CEO added: “Behind every donation is a child whose world opens up – whether that’s the freedom of a wheelchair that fits, or the happiness of joining in with friends.
“With support from Leonard Curtis, we’ll be able to change even more lives in very real and immediate ways.”
