Case study
Having considered all restructuring and insolvency options we were appointed Supervisors of a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) of this multidisciplinary law firm.
The strategy was agreed with all stakeholders including the SRA and provided for the appointment of a Chief Restructuring Office to support the existing management team with implementing the restructuring steps outlined in the CVA.
The CVA was ultimately modified resulting in a substantial third-party investment and an early conclusion of the CVA.
Whilst we have been involved in a significant number of law firm administrations, this CVA provided a more appropriate solution given the circumstances of the case. Owning our own law firm gives us additional skills to assist law firms facing difficulties.
