Conrad Beighton and Kirsty Swan from Leonard Curtis were appointed Joint Administrators to C Fullard (Metals) Limited on 17th February 2026 and concluded a sale on the same day, saving all 13 jobs.
The fourth-generation company, based in Willenhall in the West Midlands, had over 80 years in the scrap metal recycling industry and it was well recognised in the area for its specialist services. It employed 13 people.
The Company was marketed prior to the appointment of the Joint Administrators, with a view to a pre-packaged sale to maintain continuity of business and maximise value.
Eight interested parties requested non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to progress through the marketing process, with seven completing the NDAs and receiving the marketing pack.
The business was successfully sold to Fullard Bros (2006) Limited.
Issues affecting the wider scrap metal sector had impacted on the company in the last 12 months and this, together with an increase in operating costs and the effect of tariffs had marginalised the company’s profits.
In addition, several customers ceased trading which caused further cashflow issues and the loss of a number of key senior personnel had been keenly felt.
Conrad Beighton commented: “We are very pleased to have secured a sale of this well-established family-run business which had encountered significant trading difficulties but had a strong, underlying business model and excellent reputation. Protecting jobs was a priority.”
Cerberus Asset Management and Cerberus Receivables Management assisted with the sale process, together with solicitors Rachael Bentley and Rachael McCusker from Leonard Curtis Legal.
