Leonard Curtis – Gender Pay Gap Report results 2024/25
Period: April 2024 – April 2025
This year, for the first time, we have undertaken a gender pay gap report to provide us with an important metric by which we measure our ongoing progress as we seek to re‑balance long‑standing sector inequalities that exist within the professional services industry. We acknowledge that the data demonstrates a gender pay gap in both pay and bonuses, with men, earning more per hour and receiving higher bonuses on mean measures.
We have been working hard to address the pay gap andhave made progress in women’s participation across quartiles, especially in the lower‑middle and upper‑middle ranges, with 60.53% women representation in the lower‑middle quartile and 48.68% women representation in the upper‑middle quartile. In these middle quartiles, the gender pay gap is narrower than at the top of the organisation, reflecting gradual progress in women’s progression through the pay bands.
Leonard Curtis is a people‑focused business, and we recognise we need to continue to strengthen our focus on equality, diversity and inclusion, and to ensure we play our part in supporting women within the professional services industry. We acknowledge there is much more to be done as part of what is widely recognised as a long‑term journey. As a company,approximately 49% of our employees are female (148 out of 303), however, it is clear from our data that they are under‑represented in the upper quartiles of our business, where women make up 36.84% of the upper quartile compared with 50.67% of the lower quartile.
We continue to demonstrate our commitment to championing female leadership by undertaking a broad range of initiatives to ensure that our female employees find it easier to develop and progress through the business without limits. These include:
- A gender focused coaching programme, particularly aimed at supporting women moving into and within the upper middle and upper quartiles.
- A review of learning and development practices to ensure open access to all learning opportunities, with a focus on progression into senior and leadership roles.
- A D&I forum and the development of a DEI strategy, including a review of all employee policies to ensure an inclusive approach to process and policy.
We look forward to being able to highlight furtherpositive outcomes over the next 12 months as we continue to invest in ourcareer pathways and promote diversity and inclusion at all levels.
