Professional services group Leonard Curtis has confirmed the opening of a Huddersfield office as the fast-growing company continues to expand its business support offering across Yorkshire.
Acquiring prime town centre office space in St Georgees Square, Leonard Curtis Huddersfield is perfectly placed to provide expert guidance for SMEs and their advisers, particularly in Calderdale, Kirklees, Halifax and Bradford - with the new base bolstering the brandes regional footprint, following the recent acquisition of Graywoods in Sheffield.
Leonard Curtis Huddersfield will be led by Ant Milnes, a director with 17 years of experience in business turnaround, restructuring and insolvency.
Drawing on its three pillars of expertise - restructuring & insolvency, funding and legal services - Leonard Curtis offers resolutions to challenges faced by business owners.
The office is set up to provide guidance to SMEs at just the right time, as businesses look to navigate a number of current challenges, including fuel hikes, cost of living pressures and a greater reluctance to lend from high street banks.
Huddersfield lead Ant Milnes stated: Huddersfield is one of the largest towns in the UK and has tens of thousands of local businesses at various stages in their lifecycle. With the current economic perfect storm creating issues for businesses across all sectors, it has never been more important to be there to support local businesses and their owners.
Hospitality and retail sectors are particularly vulnerable to energy price rises and reductions in consumer spending and unfortunately, many other factors including recent train strikes have reduced levels of commuter traffic, which has further reduced footfall in these businesses.
Leonard Curtis has helped hundreds of local businesses and owners over the years, assisting them with sales, obtaining time to pay arrangements with HMRC, providing funding for expansion or cashflow assistance and guiding business owners through business turnaround and restructuring processes. Our Leonard Curtis Legal practice has grown from strength to strength and provides practical legal advice and support which clients require.
Now, we can bring even more of these important services to more companies in Yorkshire.
Leonard Curtis is also a supporter of many charities in the area, including the Huddersfield-based Project Youth Cancer (formerly known as the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust) - of which it is a Fight Club corporate member.
Sean Williams, Head of Yorkshire and North East at Leonard Curtis added: We play a big role in helping businesses at all stages. Were reactive and prioritise businesses needs - moving quickly and giving sound advice delivered with good communication which business owners and their advisers always appreciate.
Leonard Curtis service lines are well placed to advise SMEs through difficult times as well as periods of growth.
Were proud of what we do here at Leonard Curtis and this new office will guarantee our experts will be available to support more businesses right across the Yorkshire area in Huddersfield and beyond.
