Leonard Curtis secures funding deal for Derbyshire construction business
Leonard Curtis Groupes Reach Commercial Finance has secured a real coup by obtaining £15,000 in funding for a Derbyshire construction company that was seemingly out of financial options.
The Chesterfield-based building services business had been trading for three successful years before exhausting their credit lines in 2022; and needed further finance for the next major work project.
The company director consulted financial experts at a local accountancy practice for guidance - who advised that he should contact the experts at Reach.
The director had struggled to find a better financing deal than a six-month term at 6.66% interest - but with Reach behind him, he successfully sourced a five-figure sum over a 24-month period at 2.8% via Funding Circle.
A clause in the contract was also negotiated - dictating the loan can be paid off early without any penalty.
The deal was steered by Reaches East Midlands director Steve Dunwell, who was aided by his colleague Joanne Stubbs in Bury, Greater Manchester.
Steve stated: The company had a couple of bad debts meaning cashflow was tight and they were out of options to fund their next project as their credit lines had been maxed out.
But the directores accountant said he would get the best advice from Reach - as unlike other providers we aim to satisfy every request, even in an instance where there are seemingly no simple choices.
It was great to see our service was so very well received by both the director and his accountant - which I think helps show the depth of the talent at Reach.
